Functionality of Infrared Gas Burners
Our infrared gas burners consist of a housing and a combustion surface made of a special metal mesh. A gas–air mixture is supplied to the burner through a mixing tube, evenly distributed behind the metal mesh, and then passes through the woven surface. Upon exiting, the mixture is ignited, causing the metal mesh to glow.
This uniform distribution produces a homogeneous radiation pattern, ensuring optimal heating of the workpiece. With appropriate control technology, our burners can be operated individually or in groups and achieve operating temperatures between 30°C and 950°C, with a specific thermal output of up to 150 kW.
